IBDED — Belarusian Initiative for Democracy and the Rule of Law is an independent civic initiative established in Portugal and working across Portugal and Spain.

This page explains how the IBDED website uses personal data and cookies and sets out the terms applicable to the use of its publicly available materials.

IBDED is currently an independent initiative and does not represent a registered company, association, NGO or other incorporated legal entity.

1. Privacy Policy

1.1. What information we collect

IBDED does not require users to create an account or provide personal information in order to access the website.

If you contact us by email, we may receive the information that you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, country of residence and the contents of your message.

Please do not send confidential personal information, identity documents, case files or other sensitive information unless it is specifically necessary for your enquiry.

1.2. Why we use personal information

Information received through direct correspondence may be used to:

• respond to enquiries;
• communicate with researchers, journalists, institutions, civil society organisations and other stakeholders;
• consider requests for collaboration;
• receive information relevant to IBDED's research;
• maintain correspondence where necessary.

We do not use personal information for commercial advertising or sell personal information to third parties.
